My career as an artist started when I was a child--I spent weekend mornings sitting at my little white table in the corner of our living room, drawing and painting and creating with whatever I could get my hands on.
Years later, I'm still creating whatever I can, whenever I can, and although my materials and subject matter have changed, I find that I'm still just as hungry to make things.
Although I am originally from Atlanta, GA, I've made my way to Cape Cod--my husband's hometown--after spending a couple of years in both New York and Washington, DC. I earned my BA in Art + English from Centre College in Danville, KY, where I completed my senior exhibition in Oil Painting in 2007.
My studio space is currently in our home, which has been an amazing luxury after spending years painting in random nooks and crannies I could afford to rent in the city. These days, I still work with oils every once in a while, but I primarily work in acrylic, mixed media, and watercolor.
My work is available at numerous yoga studios sprinkled across the country and in my shop.
You can follow my life and painting journey on my blog, Starr Struck.
